On behalf of our customer, Hartmann/Intership in Cyprus, SOFTimpact is looking to fill the position for:

Maritime Applications & Business Process Specialist

The Company

With a focus on cloud-, web- and mobile-based systems Hartmann Global IT will bring its internal customers into the new decade of digitalization.

The Position

The successful candidate will join the Applications Team with a strong focus on supporting business applications and processes covering accounting, crewing, planned maintenance, QHSE etc. The individual will be trained in the products, technologies and standards used within the company. This will require the individual to become familiar with maritime related terms, concepts and working procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

Translate business processes and best practices into application needs
Act as an internal consultant in a range of upcoming global application implementations
Support of introduced application after go-live

Qualifications:

. BSC in Computer Science or BSC in Software Engineering or any related field (MIS)
. Max 2-3 years working experience in a related position
Technical Skills:

. Knowledge of databases, data warehouses, SQL, APIs and related data access technologies
. Knowledge of Microsoft technologies
. Good understanding of modern architectures of business applications
. Knowledge in Business Analytics (preferably with Power BI) considered an advantage
. Knowledge of cloud-related technologies (Azure etc.) considered an advantage

Competencies:

. Good verbal and written communications skills in English,
. Strong skills to engage and interact with people at all levels
. Knowledge in business applications: ERP
. Knowledge of maritime business processes (Accounting, Planned Maintenance, Quality, HR) considered an advantage
