Andreas Nicolaides

Andreas Nicolaides has more than 10-years experience in the financial Industry. He is the Operations Manager of G.P. GLOBAL LTD offering consulting services and training courses to Investment Firms, Administrative Service Providers and Funds focuses in Internal Audit, compliance & AML issues. He is a member of the Internal Audit team of G.P. GLOBAL LTD and is involved in numerous Internal Audits of Cyprus Investment Firms, Administrative Service Providers and Funds where he is engaged, among others, in the audit for compliance with the GDPR regulatory framework. He has completed a number of trainings on GDPR regulatory framework and assisted a number of Cyprus Investment Firms, Administrative Service Providers and Funds to comply with their GDPR legal obligations.

Andreas Nicolaides holds a BA in Business Management from the Northumbria University (Newcastle – UK). Andreas also holds an Advance and Money Laundering certificate from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission for the provision of investment services/activities.

  Eleonora Papaleontiou Louca

Η Ελεονώρα Παπαλεοντίου-Λουκά είναι Παιδαγωγός και Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Ψυχολογίας στο τμήμα Κοινωνικών και Ανθρωπιστικών Σπουδών του Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου.

Σπούδασε παιδαγωγικά στην Παιδαγωγική Ακαδημία Κύπρου και στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης. Με υποτροφία του Λεβέντειου Ιδρύματος έκανε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές και πήρε το Master in Education από το Reading University, U.K. σε θέματα γλώσσας και επικοινωνίας. Είναι επίσης κάτοχος διδακτορικού πτυχίου στην Αναπτυξιακή / Εκπαιδευτική/Γνωστική Ψυχολογία από το Cardiff, U.K. Τώρα πραγματοποιεί δεύτερο διδακτορικό στο Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, πάνω στην Πνευματικότητα Παιδιών και Εφήβων.

Η Ελεονώρα Παπαλεοντίου-Λουκά έχει εκδώσει 6 βιβλία, έχει δημοσιεύσει διάφορα άρθρα σε ελληνικά και διεθνή περιοδικά και έχει συμμετάσχει σε δεκάδες διεθνή και τοπικά συνέδρια.

H Δρ Ε. Παπαλεοντίου-Λουκά έχει δώσει, επίσης, πολλές διαλέξεις και ραδιοφωνικές / τηλεοπτικές παρουσιάσεις γύρω από θέματα της ειδικότητάς της και επιμελείται & παρουσιάζει δική της εκπομπή (Στης Ψυχής τα Μονοπάτια) σε θέματα Παιδαγωγικών – Ψυχολογίας – Θεολογίας.

  George Papanicolaou

George Papanicolaou has more than 20-years experience in the Financial industry. He worked for several years in managerial positions as area Manager, Head of Brokerage, Compliance Officer, Anti Money Laundering Officer, General Manager and Executive Director in Cypriot Investment Firms as well as Managing Director of GP GLOBAL LTD offering consulting services and training courses to Investment Firms, focuses in Internal Audit, compliance & AML issues. He offered numerous courses/seminars both in Cyprus and abroad in Investment Firms Law as well as in Compliance & Anti Money Laundering. George Papanicolaou is also a Chairman of a Nomination Committee in a company listed in the Oslo Stock Exchange.

George Papanicolaou holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin (USA), an MBA with specialization in Finance from Leicester University (UK) and a Postgraduate Certificate in the Mechanics of Risk Management from Middlesex University (UK).

He also holds an ICA International Diploma in Anti Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association and the University of Manchester, as well as an Advance and Money Laundering certificate from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission for the provision of investment services/activities.

He is a Member of the AML and Compliance Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), Fellow of the International Compliance Association (FICA), Mentor of ICA new students, member of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors and the first Network chair for Cyprus of the International Compliance association.

Maria Patsalou

Η Μαρία Πάτσαλου είναι κάτοχος του Bsc in Public Relations & Human Recourse Management καθώς και διπλώματος Δημοσιογραφίας από την Δημοσιογραφική σχολή του Αντένα στην Αθήνα.

Την τελευταία δεκαετία εργάζεται στο Μεσογειακό Ίδρυμα Ασφάλειας Πτήσεων στην Λάρνακα. Ένα σημαντικό μέρος των επαγγελματικών της καθηκόντων είναι και η διοργάνωση όλων των εταιρικών του συνεδρίων και σεμιναρίων τόσο στην Κύπρο όσο και στο εξωτερικό σε όλη την διάρκεια του έτους.

Παράλληλα είναι Δημοτική Σύμβουλος στον Δήμο Αραδίππου από το 2017 και κατέχει την προεδρία της Επιτροπής Πολιτισμού και Εκδόσεων.

Ως επικεφαλής της Επιτροπής Πολιτισμού έχει την ευθύνη όλων των πολιτιστικών εκδηλώσεων του Δήμου οι οποίες εμπεριέχονται σε κάθε θεματική περίοδο ξεχωριστά.

Στα πλαίσια της δράσης της αυτής έχει επίσης πετύχει με την ομάδα της σημαντικές διακρίσεις όπως το βραβείο για την άυλη πολιτιστική κληρονομιά της UNESCO, διάκριση στο πρόγραμμα “Europeana”, μέσα από το οποίο έχουν κερδίσει την ψηφιοποίηση του αρχειακού υλικού του Δήμου τους και πολλά άλλα.

Στα πλαίσια των γενικότερων δραστηριοτήτων της αναπτύσσει συνεργασίες και κοινές δράσεις με φορείς και οργανώσεις στους οποίους παρέχει την πείρα και την τεχνογνωσία της γύρω από το Event Management.

Σε προσωπικό επίπεδο και χρόνο ασχολείται με την στιχουργική έχοντας υπογράψει την πρώτη της δισκογραφική συνεργασία στην Αθήνα. Ταυτόχρονα έχει αναπτύξει αρκετές συνεργασίες με καλλιτέχνες τόσο στην Κύπρο όσο και στο εξωτερικό.

 Nektarios Michael

With more than 10 years of experience, Nektarios is an expert in the financial services industry, having worked in key roles at investment funds, CIFs and other service providers. His exposure to the industry allowed him to gain knowledge in a variety of vital investment functions.

Complementing his practical knowledge of the industry, Nektarios also holds a number of professional and academic qualifications, including CySEC’s Advance Certification. He is currently employed by an Investment Fund.

Nicole K. Phinopoulou

Ms. Phinopoulou, a qualified lawyer, with over 20 years professional expertise and qualifications in Company Corporate, Banking and Financial Services Laws (Project Finance and Infrastructure). Nicole embraces enhanced practical knowledge and enhanced specialisation in Corporate Sustainability Responsibility and Regulatory Compliance including on implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (17 SDGs). Holder of Degree in Law (LL.B(2:1) from University of Leicester, Masters of Law (Corporate and Commercial Law) L.L.M of University College London (UCL) and of professional Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice Course (LPC) awarded by City University (London)(2003).

Ms. Phinopoulou is an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (CISI), Graduate of the Cambridge University Judge Business School (Circular Economy) and as from 2020 she is a Member of the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership focusing on matters of Sustainable Finance & Sustainability Strategies. On September 2022 was accredited by Human Resource Development Authority (Cyprus HRDA) as Vocational and Professional Training Trainer (SEP/CYQF/EQF5 (HRDA -EU project).

She served as independent Director at Board Council of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) (2016-2018) and at the Council of University of Cyprus (2019-2021). Since 2003 she is a registered member of the Cyprus Bar Association actively participating at the Companies, Tax Planning and Capital Markets Committee and for period 2015-2020 acted as nominated representative of the Cyprus Bar Association at the National Parliament.   Spyros Spyrou

Spyros Spyrou has more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry, in Deutsche Post, DHL Express, Logistics Operations Consulting, holding executive positions in Operations Management and Training and Development.

Having won numerous awards for the best Operational Facilities and Best employee and manager specializing in Planning, design, and managing day-to-day Operations activities, Recruiting and training of new and
existing employees, HR Management, Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Training Programs.

He has completed numerous training in Bohn, Brussels, Barcelona, Prague, and graduated from the highestranking Operational Supervisory Academy of Deutsche Post I Germany. He has held for years the position of Country Employee representative in The European Workers for Forum of Logistics training and developing the future managers of the company.

Through the years he has created developed and given training in Training Programs in the field of Communication, Leadership Essentials, Inspirational Leadership, Managing Operations, Working with Teams and others, and Project management. Also, he developed various programs specializing in Middle Management, Rising Stars, and people who do not have a university education, believing that teaching should challenge learners who want to develop their skills and advance their careers.

He has studied MIS and holds various diplomas in Leadership, PMS, Communications and still developing!
